Gymnastics, cheer, and even dance are different from other sports, and in many ways, they are far more demanding. They require a high level of strength, control, and flexibility in all areas of the body, and they engage in more training hours than most sports year-round. These athletes need treatment and prevention programs that understand the particular requirements of their sport. With my orthopedic and manual therapy background, combined with my Pilates training, understanding of exercise science, and "gym mom" observation hours, I feel led to meet that need to the best of my ability.
