Department Responsibilities:

The Planning Department provides both long-range land use planning and the day-to-day administration of the General Plan, Zoning Ordinances, and the Development Code. The Planning Department also provides staff support to the Planning Commission and City Council regarding development applications and proposals (Subdivisions, Conditional Use Permits, Variances, Site Plan Review, Ordinance Amendments. etc.). Community Development staff provides the technical information and analysis needed to help the decision-making bodies make informed decisions.

Open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. and Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
