The beautiful property that Farm & Table is located on came about through a deep respect for the land. Cherie’s father David Montoya purchased it many years ago to save it from being urbanized as a 40-house development. David’s goal was to preserve the land, re-establish the ditch rights, and restore its agricultural integrity. This selfless plan to honor the land, culture, and heritage of the Rio Grande Valley is the reason that the Farm & Table thrives today. We continue to farm the property and raise happy cows in the backfield. All who visit can enjoy the gorgeous unobstructed views and the beauty of the open space.
